CRMCC offers affordable professional development to businesses to set new business standards through diversity, equity, and inclusion learning. This initiative will help minority and women-owned businesses build their capacity and expand their markets. This initiative is ideal for DEI leaders, employee resource group leaders, and DEI advisory boards and councils. They engage in outcome-driven dialogue regarding matters that often don’t feel “discussible” in many workplaces. Completing the learning series allows business owners and their employees to stay on the cutting edge of diversity, equity, and inclusion trends that impact businesses.

Participants will hear various perspectives that shape the landscape of IDEA in the workplace. IDEA introduces a common language to gain a more in-depth understanding of business leaders from multiple industries. The experiential learning process will also outline critical analysis of behaviors and policies aligned with more respectful, inclusive workplaces. The topics will include historical reflection on the origin of race in our nation, attributes of “brave spaces,” psychological safety, inclusive leadership, allyship, and intentional DEI strategic planning. Participants that complete all five sessions in the series will receive a certificate of completion from the CRMCC. For more information, contact us at https://capitalregionminoritychamber.org/contact. Register online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/IDEARegistration. The March 25th launch is FREE. All registrations fees for the series are non-refundable. Proceeds will benefit sustainable programs and services provided to minority-owned and women businesses in NJ. The 2022 Sponsors include NJM Insurance Group, Comcast, PrimePoint, and PSEG,
