Our Speakers
Commerce, and a financial literacy program for women Michelle Walker-Davis, MPA/MS
Michelle is Managing Partner for the Imperial Management Group, a development consulting firm for government grants and contracts. She is an award-winning grant writer, having secured over 2.9 million dollars in funding.
Michelle is also the founder and transformational coach for Women of Power and Transformation (WOPAT), whose primary purpose is to transform lives through coaching and mentoring. WOPAT runs a Women of Color Small Business Boot Camp, sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank and the African American Chamber of that desire to become homeowners. Michelle is a real estate investor with a portfolio of $2M in real estate, and has served as general contractor for 1 of 2 homes of which she built from the ground up.
A former college Professor at Mercer and Gloucester County Colleges, she has spent over 15 years as a trainer and facilitator for the implementation of government programs and teaching grant writing workshops for faith-based and other nonprofit organizations.
In addition, she is a former Congressional Senior Evaluator with the General Accountability Office (GAO) and has served on award panels and review committees for RFP’s in excess of $50 billion. She has won numerous awards and honors for high caliber assistance on federal programs, grants, and contracts.
Michelle is a visionary and currently has a book, two television shows, and an internet radio program in development. She holds dual Masters degrees from Syracuse University and a certificate from the Entrepreneur Institute at Rutgers University. Michelle is a member of the Matthews Broadcast Network Leadership team, the AACCNJ, NAACP EBoard and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
She is married to her college sweetheart Martin Davis and through this union they have four amazing children.
